You have virtually nothing to truly lose and only stand to gain an incredible, unmatchable experience within a medieval world full of dedicated people. Given the fluid combat system, dynamic politics, and genuinely entertaining sandbox possibilities, any number of things can be achieved in multiplayer from developing a whole roleplay-centered town to staging all out war against other player factions. The gameplay is generally the same, but player interactions are just the opposite. Should single player not be enough for you, multiplayer offers an entirely different experience altogether.

I was blown away by a mod of this caliber. It adds a huge realm of possibility to the already sweeping potential. Plus, dozens of troops, tanks, weapons, and warplanes can be purchased to toy around with along with tons of animations.
